De Clercq & Partners was originally founded as Ann De Clercq & Co, in 1998. From the early start, the firm has focused on IP protection in the field of biotechnology and related life sciences.

In 2000, a new company was founded and the name changed into De Clercq Brants & Partners c.v.b.a.

In 2000 the company moved from its original location to the building it occupies until today. The office is a completely refurbished former industrial building in Sint-Martens- Latem, embedded in green surroundings, next to a residential area.

Since the foundation in 1998, the firm has known a steady growth in employees, clients and turnover.

Our clients include SME's, multinationals, universities, research institutes and venture capitalists. The majority of our clients are European firms, but a growing amount of our customers originate from all around the world.

De Clercq & Partners a été fondée en 1988 comme Ann De Clercq & Co. Dès le départ, la société s'est focalisée sur la protection de la PI dans le domaine de la biotechnologie et des biosciences liées.

En 2000, une nouvelle société a été créée et le nom a changé en De Clercq & Partners c.v.b.a.

En 2000, la société a quitté sa localisation d'origine pour s'établir dans le bâtiment qu'elle occupe encore aujourd'hui. Les bureaux sont aménagés dans un ancien bâtiment industriel qui a été entièrement rénové, situé à Sint-Martens-Latem, et intégré dans un environnement de verdure, à proximité d'une zone résidentielle.

Depuis sa constitution en 1998, la société a connu une croissance continue en matière de nombre d'employés, de clients et de chiffre d'affaires.

Nos clients incluent des PME, multinationales, universités, instituts de recherche et sociétés de capital à risque. La majorité de nos clients sont des entreprises européennes, mais un nombre toujours plus important de nos clients vient de tous les coins du monde.

De Clercq & Partners wurde 1998 ursprünglich als Ann De Clercq & Co. gegründet. Von Anfang an lag das Hauptaugenmerk der Kanzlei auf dem Rechtsgebiet IP-Schutz, im Bereich der Biotechnologie und verwandten Biowissenschaften.

Im Jahre 2000 wurde eine neue Kanzlei gegründet, und der Name änderte sich in De Clercq & Partners c.v.b.a.

Ebenfalls im Jahre 2000 fand der Umzug in die heutigen Räumlichkeiten der Kanzlei statt. Die Büros befinden sich in einem vollständig renovierten, ehemaligen Industriegebäude in Sint-Marten-Latem, inmitten von Grünanlagen, am Rande eines Wohngebietes.

Seit der Gründung, 1998, konnte die Kanzlei ein stetiges Wachstum an Mitarbeitern, Mandanten und Umsatz verzeichnen.

Zu unseren Mandanten gehören KMUs, multinationale Unternehmen, Universitäten, Forschungsinstitute und Risikokapitalgeber. Die Mehrheit unserer Mandanten sind europäische Unternehmen, wobei unsere weltweiten Mandantenkontakte zunehmen.
