Applying is straightforward via kmo-portefeuille (www.kmo-portefeuille.be). Be sure to submit within 14 calendar days after the project start. If you’d like support with the application, we are happy to guide you through each step.
Note: Subsidy availability depends on the service scope and booking via a recognized provider under the KMO-portefeuille scheme. Check your company’s eligibility on VLAIO.
Once we’ve defined the scope of our advice together, we’ll provide you with a written advisory agreement.
This document confirms the start of the project and is required to apply for the subsidy.
👉 From the day you sign, you have 14 calendar days to submit your subsidy request.
You can apply online via the official KMO-portefeuille platform: www.kmo-portefeuille.be.
You’ll be redirected to the e-Loket voor Ondernemers, where you log in with itsme or your eID.
If this is your first time applying, you’ll first need to register your company in the e-Loket.
Once registered, select De Clercq & Partners as your service provider and upload the advisory agreement we’ve shared with you.
After submitting your online request, you’ll receive payment details from Pluxee (formerly Sodexo), the platform’s financial partner.
Transfer your company’s share to the KMO-portefeuille account within 30 calendar days after your application.
Please copy the payment reference exactly as provided otherwise the government subsidy cannot be added.
Once your payment is received correctly and on time, VLAIO transfers the subsidy amount to your KMO-portefeuille account as well.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once both amounts are available.
Our experts will then carry out the agreed service such as a patentability or FTO analysis and deliver the results as outlined in your agreement.
When the advisory work is complete, you’ll receive our invoice.
You can then authorize payment directly from your KMO-portefeuille account using both your contribution and the government subsidy to complete the payment.
If your company is already registered, you can also submit and track your KMO-portefeuille applications through the VLAIO app (available via the App Store or Google Play).
