We’re excited to welcome Yannick Ureel to De Clercq & Partners!
Yannick obtained his Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Ghent University in 2021, followed by a PhD on the catalytic chemical recycling of plastic waste under an FWO fellowship. His research included international experience at Penn State University and the High Magnetic Field Laboratory.
As a Patent Adviser, Yannick focuses on patent drafting, prosecution, oppositions, freedom-to-operate, and IP strategy. With a strong scientific background in various technology fields including engineering, material science, computer science, chemistry, and physics; more specifically in petrochemistry, catalysis, polymer chemistry, recycling technologies, analytical chemistry, reactor engineering, artificial intelligence, numerical modelling, software, and industrial processes, he brings a wealth of expertise to our team.
