Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing our everyday lives. Only a few decades ago, machines were considered mainly useful for routine and repetitive assignments, now AI-equipped devices are capable of highly complex tasks previously thought exclusive to the human intelligence and capacity. Today, we see ever more ambitious applications of AI which will change the ways in which we work, play, and communicate.

In this IP café we discuss:
- The ways in which software patent applications are examined at the European Patent Office;
- How the practice is applied specifically to AI-related inventions;
- Some of the current talking points.

You are welcome as of 4.30 pm for the welcoming reception. Presentations will start around 5.00 pm and will conclude at 6.30 pm, after which you can engage in discussions, and network with colleagues in different fields.
This session will be organized three times at our offices across Belgium.
