De Clercq & Partners welcomes Evi Van Ballaer!

We are starting the new year with some exciting news! As of today, the 2nd of January 2023, we are welcoming Evi Van Ballaer as the newest member of our Patent Department. Evi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Avionics, a Master’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, and qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2008. Eleven years later, she also qualified as a Belgian Patent Attorney.

Since 2000, Evi built up eight years of experience at the IP Department of CNH Industrial as European Patent Attorney and three years as IP Counsel for the Niko Group. After that, she became co-founder and managing director at Ænigma, a company that mainly focuses on in-house IP counseling for companies with or without an IP department, but also offers advice and service custom-tailed to the wishes of independent inventors.

De Clercq & Partners is very happy to welcome Evi to the team. She will undoubtedly strengthen the patent team as an excellent European and Belgian Patent Attorney.

This further expansion of our team will allow us to maintain the high quality and timing of the service that we aim to provide to our clients.
