De Clercq & Partners welcomes Caroline Hennin
De Clercq & Partners is delighted to welcome ir. Caroline Hennin as a new member of its patent department. Caroline holds a Master degree in Bio-Engineering Sciences and also obtained a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences, both at the University of Ghent, Belgium
After finishing her PhD, Caroline started as a Patent Adviser at De Clercq & Partners and qualified as European Patent Attorney in 2008.
In 2010 she joined the IP department of CropDesign NV as Senior Patent Counsel. CropDesign is an Affiliate of BASF Plant Science, delivering agronomic traits for the global commercial seed markets and developing solutions for improving crop productivity. In 2011 Caroline became head of the IP Department of CropDesign. At CropDesign and BASF Plant Science, Caroline in particular managed all IP aspects of a global R&D project aiming to develop and commercialise transgenic rice showing yield increase.
De Clercq & Partners is very happy to once again welcome Caroline to the team. She will undoubtedly strengthen the patent team as an excellent European Patent Attorney.
This further expansion of our team will allow us to maintain the quality and timing of the service that we aim to provide to our clients.
